What changes in healthcare distribution

Distributing hot drinks in a hospital or nursing home is not the same as serving them in a dining room. The route is long, the timing is strict, and hygiene requirements leave no room for shortcuts.

01.The temperature must hold throughout the entire trip

Between the preparation in the kitchen and the last room in the department, there can be many minutes. The Camurri Double Jacket System, with its double air gap, contains the temperature variation to just 4-5 °C per hour: the drink arrives hot even at the end of the corridor.

02.Hygiene and uncompromising washing

Autoclaving is only possible on the CT model. The standard version of the CT model does not allow autoclaving and must be requested. The ctr cannot be autoclaved as it is electric.

03.Maneuverability in tight spaces

Corridors, elevators, fire doors. The carts have four stainless steel rubber-wheeled wheels, one with a brake, and the containers attach with a bayonet without blocking the passage.

04.Configurations that follow the department

A ward, a nursing home and a day hospital have different needs. Camurri trolleys are custom-configured for the number of baskets, Gastronorm trays, drawers and compartments, with the option of heating or cooling systems.

Camurri equipment for healthcare facilities

Cart Wardrobe CA

Thermal trolley for food transport with hinged doors and two service compartments, up to six baskets on telescopic rails. Four stainless steel wheels with rubber tyres, one with a brake. This is the most closed model in the range, suitable for routes that pass through several departments.

Carrelli Open CO

Two compartments with telescopic rails hold three baskets and three Gastronorm trays for quick access in the dining room and on the ward. The bayonet fitting for the thermal containers is a customisation option, and the trolley can also be ordered in a basic version without containers.

Customisable cart CO.CA.CH

Completely made of stainless steel 18/10, with adjustable shelves, pull-out drawers, storage compartments and rubber-tyred wheels with brakes. As an option, it can be equipped with heating or cooling systems. This is the model to use when the standard configuration is not enough.

Thermal containers CT – CTR

The heart of the distribution: Double Jacket air gap system, temperature variation of only 4-5 °C per hour, capacity from 1 to 50 litres. Stainless steel 18/10, autoclave washable, bayonet fitting on trolleys. They keep both hot and cold food at the right temperature.

Hot water kettle HWU

Used for the production of hot water, ideal for preparing hot drinks, herbal teas and tea in a cup, as well as for any food cooking needs.
Unlike the Termorapid, tea is not inserted directly into the machine: the water is simply heated and then used to prepare the drink.

Water bath container BM

Heats and keeps milk, coffee, instant products and beverages in general up to 90 °C, with uniform heating that preserves their characteristics. From 5 to 50 litres, in single, double or triple versions with independent modules, with removable inner pot for cleaning.

Termorapid Compatta T.3

Three litres, up to 30 cups, manual operation and no water supply connection: it moves wherever it is needed. Useful for office departments and decentralised services.

Three recurring settings

Hospital ward

CA Trolley Cupboard: the cupboard structure allows you to store food, materials or the cash register in an orderly and safe manner in the various drawers, keeping everything protected and accessible. It can be configured with dispensers or hotel machines for tea, coffee and instant drinks.

RSA and nursing home

Open CO Cart: It stands out for its practicality and versatility, offering an open and easily customisable solution based on the specific operational needs of the facility. It can be configured with dispensers or hotel machines for beverage service.

Kitchen and room service

In facilities with high volumes (over 100 breakfasts up to 1,000 meals in large hospitals), the TA, GAT, GC and BM units allow for the rapid production of large quantities of beverages. The product is then transferred to pitchers or containers on trolleys for transport to the dining room or wards.

Departmental office and decentralised services

T.3 Compact Thermorapid and small capacity thermal containers, for those points where it is not convenient to transport everything from the central kitchen.
